Bravilor TH10 Filter Airpot Included

£525.00

Brews straight into the supplied insulated airpot, so nothing stews on a hotplate and the coffee can be carried to the table. Fill it by hand, plug it in anywhere, and one demonstration is all the training it needs.

Meeting rooms, staff canteens and conference floors all share one problem: the coffee has to travel away from the machine and still be worth drinking when it arrives. The Bravilor TH10 answers that by brewing directly into an insulated airpot instead of a glass jug sat on a hotplate, and the airpot is supplied with the machine.

How it brews

Fresh grounds are extracted at temperature straight into the vacuum-insulated container, which then holds the coffee with no element underneath it. Nothing sits cooking on a warming plate, so the last cup poured tastes far closer to the first than it would from a traditional jug system. The airpot lifts out in a single movement and can be carried to a delegate table, a breakout area or a serving trolley, freeing the brewer to start the next batch immediately. Because the pot seals, it also keeps aroma in the coffee instead of releasing it across the counter.

Key features

  • Brews directly into the supplied insulated airpot, with no hotplate required
  • Pump-action dispensing lets guests serve themselves without staff standing by
  • Manual water fill, so the machine runs anywhere there is a mains socket
  • Table-top footprint that sits neatly on a standard back counter
  • Stainless steel filter pan taking ordinary drop-in paper filters
  • Uncomplicated controls that a new team member picks up in minutes

Volume, and the shape of your day

The TH10 is a batch machine, and batch machines reward a diary. Coffee served in waves around scheduled breaks is exactly its pattern; coffee poured continuously from open to close is not, and one of the bulk brewers in our range of commercial filter coffee machines will suit that better. One airpot covers a single meeting comfortably, while keeping spare pots on the shelf lets one operator brew ahead and stage several rounds before the doors open. If you are not sure which side of that line your site falls on, our guide to working out the volume you really need to cover is the place to start.

Siting it

This is the easiest machine in the filter range to place, because it is filled by hand. No plumbing, no drainage, no waiting on a contractor: a socket, a stable surface and somewhere to fill a jug are the whole requirement, which is why it ends up in meeting suites and on trolleys in rooms that were never designed to make coffee. Allow clearance above the filter pan so the lid opens, and count the counter space you will need for the pots themselves, not just the brewer. Manual filling is also the compromise to be aware of: somebody has to carry water, and on a heavy day that somebody will notice.

Milk and the drinks you can offer

Filter coffee is served black and finished at the table, so milk is a jug or a tray of portion pots on the counter beside the machine. That is a genuine advantage for conference catering, since nothing on the machine touches milk and there is no hygiene routine attached to it, but it does set the ceiling on the menu. There are no cappuccinos here. Where delegates expect a milk-based drink made to order, this belongs alongside a bean to cup machine rather than instead of one.

Training and upkeep

A new starter learns this machine in one demonstration: load a paper filter, add the measured dose, position the pot, press to brew. Routine upkeep amounts to rinsing the pot, emptying the filter pan and descaling in hard water areas, which keeps the machine well within reach of existing front-of-house staff and away from a specialist maintenance visit. Two habits make the difference over a year: rinse the airpot properly rather than just tipping it out, and keep the dose consistent between operators so the coffee tastes the same on Friday as it did on Monday. Anything else you are wondering about before ordering is probably covered in our buying questions.

Typical settings

  • Meeting suites, boardrooms and training centres
  • Hotel conference floors and event spaces
  • Offices and staff canteens serving coffee around fixed breaks
  • Anywhere coffee has to be carried away from the counter

Offices, training centres, hotel meeting suites and event spaces get the most from this format, particularly where coffee is served in waves around scheduled breaks. Add a second pot and the machine covers a whole morning of staggered sessions without anybody standing over it.
