Twenty ounces is the size that turns a frozen drink into an upsell. It is the largest serve in the slush cup range, and it is not limited to slush: smoothies, iced coffee, milkshakes and soft drinks all pour into the same vessel, which is why one case tends to cover a whole cold drinks board rather than a single line on it.

Why thick-grade PET matters at this size

A large frozen drink is heavy, and a cup that flexes when it is gripped loses its contents somewhere between the counter and the car park. Thick-grade PET gives the wall enough rigidity to be held firmly without buckling, and it stays clear, so the colour of the product does the selling through the side of the cup. PET is also widely recyclable, which means going up a size need not be a step backwards on waste handling. What arrives, and where to keep it

Cups arrive nested in sleeves, 1,000 to the box. Store them stacked and dry, off the floor and away from anything strongly scented, because PET will take on a smell over a long summer. Break out only what a shift needs and leave the remainder sleeved: it keeps rims clean and stops staff working through a half-open box. This is stock for an operator who already knows frozen drinks sell on their site and wants the large serve permanently on the board, or for a venue whose trade arrives in concentrated bursts: summer at a caravan park, a school holiday run at a cinema, a weekend festival pitch. If frozen drinks are a quiet side line and you turn over a handful of serves on a good day, a smaller cup will move faster and leave less capital sitting on a shelf.
